It's gonna be a three step setup and we're gonna be installing it on our 2016 Forest River Rockwood Windjammer. These moryde steps are gonna be a major upgrade to your rig. They're far more stable than the steps that come on there because there's gonna have ground contact. You see the two feet at the bottom here making contact that helps stabilize it when you're walking up and down. more

MORryde StepAbove RV Steps Installation - 2022 Jayco Eagle HT Fifth Wheel- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with Etrailer and today I'll be showing you how to install the Morryde step above RV steps here on our 2022 JCO Eagle HT fifth wheel. The Morryde quad steps here have a nice aluminum step so that it's gonna resist rust and corrosion so it's gonna have a longer lifespan on it. The frame itself's made out of steel and also powder coated. If you look at the steps, they have a nice tread on 'em. And then also this non-slip tape that goes across 'em. And that's gonna help keep this from being too slick if it's raining or maybe it's a little bit icy in the morning when you get out. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, I'm gonna be showing you how to install the replacement Kwikee RV electric steps here on our 2004 Alfa Leisure See Ya motorhome. If you're having issues with your electric steps on your motorhome or your trailer, then you're gonna wanna get the replacement Kwikee steps, depending on what series you have. That way, every time you open or close your door, your steps extend or retract as needed. So, these steps will come with a couple of different models, depending on the width that you have or the entry height that you have on your motorhome. We have a whole chart listed on every one of our product pages with the steps that's going to list out that entry height and that width so that you can make sure that you get the correct size brackets. more

Hi there Forest River owners. Today in your 2018 Forest River Flagstaff V-Lite we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install Lippert's solid step. And this is what our steps look like when they're installed. You can see the underslung are no longer present for additional accessories that the customer wanted to have installed. But if that's the case on your motor home and you're one to add some accessories where your steps are in the way, this is one of the best upgrades that you can do to get a more stable step while also getting more clearance for those objects you wanna install. And even if you didn't have something that you we're trying to clear out room for, this is still an upgrade because you can enjoy a much more stable step with these ones 'cause we have contact to the ground. more

The main benefit of upgrading to these steps is for safety and convenience. These ones are gonna be more solid than your traditional steps and we'll show you those here later the traditional ones that are underneath. But with these we have got that contact to the ground so it's very solid when you're stepping in it just feels like you're walking into somebody's home. When you step on regular steps the whole motor home is moving with you but these feel very natural. Each one's got grip on it, as well as a raised section to ensure you get good traction and they're very wide steps so you get plenty of surface area. more

Hi there, fifth wheel owners. Today in your 2015 Northwood Arctic Fox, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Torklift's GlowSteps. And these are gonna be a great replacement step for the ones that came with your Arctic Fox. You can see that they contact the ground down here, on each side, and that makes for a much sturdier step than you had before. The ones that hang down, that we're on your camper before, when you get in and out of them, they have a lot of flex to them, 'cause they're just hanging down on the bottom of your camper, and everybody in your camper knows that you're getting in and out, 'cause as you walk up and down these steps, your camper's rocking back and forth. Even if you put down some landing gear, you're still gonna notice a little bit of rock due to those steps. more

Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2014 Prime Time Tracer Travel Trailer, and I want to walk through how to install the TorkLift Revolution GlowSteps. Adding steps like this is going to give you a lot more stability, over your factory steps that are floating. The reason these are going to give you more stability is they actually touch the ground. So you've got a lot more stability down, not only attached to your trailer, but within touching the ground your steps aren't gonna move and shake the whole trailer, like your typical factory steps that come on your trailers. Most factory steps like this, are going to be a steel construction. more

Today I have a 2015 Northwood Arctic Fox 27' Fifth Wheel and I'm going to be showing you how to install the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising.What would be the reason we'd want to add different steps to our camper Well if we come down here, we take a look at the steps that normally come on your campers. Steel construction and they tend to rust fairly quick, so they become hard to put in and out. Plus, they're floating steps, so there's nothing touching the ground, so when we walk on these there's not a whole lot of stability there. You can see they kind of move around. Plus, if you're inside the camper sleeping and you come out at night, or somebody's sleeping, you got to walk in, you're shaking the camper around.With TorkLift steps you can see these are going to fold inside the door, so once we leave, close our door, our steps stay inside. more

Kwikee 25 Series Replacement RV Electric Steps Install - 2008 Fleetwood Tioga Motorhome- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today we have our Fleetwood Tioga and we're going to be taking a look at our steps. Now as you can see the electric steps currently function properly. However, there's a couple issues, the first step is way high off the ground, so if you have trouble getting up and down the stairs, this can make it unsafe getting in and out of your motor home. There're also pretty wobbly and that can cause you to lose your footing as well. Our new steps are going to be a great replacement and upgrade over these current ones. more

And this is what our steps look like when they're installed. This is going to be a heavy duty upgrade for your trailer to ensure that you can easily get in and out without any accidents. A lot of the steps that are on your trailer before, they make no contact with the ground and they just hang down below. And if you're going in and out real fast, maybe you're moving a little bit faster, carrying some items, those steps can wobble on you and it could cause some imbalance to happen.These are extremely sturdy. more

Today I have a 2019 Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel, and I want to walk you through how to install Lippert Components Solid Steps.These steps are going to give you a very solid foundation for walking in and out of your camper. When you compare them to the other steps that are normally coming on campers, they're a little bit wobbly. They don't have any base that touches the ground, so they have a lot of give in them.With these, they give you adjustments so you can set them down on the ground to give you a solid foundation walking in and out, not only for you but also for your pets. These are going to have a 400 pound weight capacity, so very high. You'll notice again, top step is very wide. more

Today in your 2014 F-53 chassis motorhome, We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Lippert's Tread Lite single RV step, and our step's constructed of a rust proof aluminum so we don't have to worry about this breaking down and looking all grody in the future.It is a 300 pound weight capacity, so it should be more than enough for you and your family to go in and out as many times as you want.This step also features a safety shutoff. During an extension or retraction cycle, if the motor senses a spike in current, the motor will shut off. So this means if the step encounters any obstructions such as a rock or a tree, the step will stop. Then you can shut the door and retract the step, move to a location where there's no obstruction, and then be on your way.Here you can see our old step compared to our new step. The old step does had a bit of a deeper step here at the bottom, but the treaded portion is significantly smaller than the entirely treaded step that we have on our new step here. more

TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps Installation - 2008 Keystone Big Sky Fifth Wheel- Video
Hi there fifth wheelers. Today on your 2008 Keystone Montana Mountaineer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install TorkLift's GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps. For comparison, here's our old steps. As you can see, there's only three steps versus our GlowSteps will have four, making it easier for you to get from the ground into your RV without having to take such a big step. Also has landing gear on it to provide more support at the end of the steps, where there's no landing gear present on our factory steps here. And then of course there's the added benefit that our GlowSteps glow in the dark, where these are just black, and they're difficult to see at night.Now right away, I can tell the difference that your new steps are much sturdier than our old steps. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2012 Forest River Georgetown XL Motorhome, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you, how to install the Lippert Components Kwikee 25 Series Triple Electric Step, that's gonna be Part Number LC3658373.Having electric steps on your RV is a really nice thing, whenever we need to get in, we can open the door and our steps should come out, but then at the same time, when we close the door, they should retract. Now, as you can see, ours are having a little bit of an issue, they keep binding up on us and it's a really intermittent operation.Our new Kwikee 25 Series Steps are gonna make it a lot easier for us to get in and out of our motorhome, because they're gonna operate whenever we open the door, our steps will extend down, and then whenever we close the door, they'll retract back in. And you see, they're gonna have that nice, smooth operation.And the way they're gonna work, is they're gonna have a two-part switch, one is gonna be on the outside of the door, right here, which is gonna have a magnet, that'll signal the inside switch. And the inside switch is gonna be mounted onto the inside of the door jamb, and it'll find that signal and let the steps know whether to retract or extend out.Now, our steps are also gonna have a manual switch, so we can turn the steps off if we like to keep em' out all the time, so we don't have to worry about them going back in when we close the door. Now, our motorhome already had a switch built in, so we didn't wire it up, but if we turn the switch off, it will cut the power off to our steps, and then when we close the door, the steps will stay extended out.Our steps are gonna have a lot of built in safety features, so in case we forget to turn that switch back on, and when we close the door to drive away in our motorhome, the steps are gonna automatically retract as soon as we put the key into the ON position. Now also, as another added safety feature, our steps are gonna extend the first time that we open the door after the key is in the ON position, that way we don't have to worry about falling out of the door.And sometimes, whenever we're parked close to a curb, and we go to open our door, our steps may come in contact with that curb, luckily though, there's gonna be a control unit on the motor which is gonna prevent any kind of overheating and too much amperage draw, and it'll actually cut power. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel we'll be having a look at and installing the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps with Landing Gear, Part No. TLA8004.Now what sets these apart from other manufacturer steps or the factory steps on your fifth wheel or your travel trailer, is that these offer the ultimate in stability and security and safety for when you're traveling up them into your trailer. Now we're getting this extra stability and safety because our steps are making contact with the ground with our built-in landing gear right here.The main reason the factory steps are lacking on most fifth wheels or travel trailers is that we don't have a landing gear here that makes our bottom step have contact with the ground and that makes it very unstable when we're getting in and out of the trailer. When you initially step onto your factory ones that don't have them, you can see how much they move and how unstable they are and I'm not a big guy but you can see that I'm getting about two inches deflection just stepping onto them.Now with these steps being manufactured out of a light weight aircraft grade aluminum, they are extremely easy to handle, maneuver, put in and out of a store position. Simply lift up on the bottom step and start pushing it on in. Use your knees or your thigh to help brace it. more

Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step Installation - 2006 Freightliner Sprinter- Video
Today on our 2006 Sprinter, we'll be installing the Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step, part number LC285306. We'll go ahead and review the operation. With the RV battery power on and the door switch on, we'll simply open up the screen door and it will extend the step, also turning on the step illumination light. Then when we close the door, it will retract the step. Now we'll go ahead with our install. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the old or manufacturer's step. To do this, we'll start by removing the old electrical. We'll remove the 4-pin plug by pulling back on the lock connector and then separating the two connections. more
